The book "Little Jerry and the Hunter's Dog" is a story about a young lad who was loyal to her widow mother, Diwa and supported her to the farm for planting cassava, and on one occasion saw a group of Hunters around their farm. He admired them, and develop likeness for their Dogs. He thereafter became friendly with one of them, and in course of time accompanied the Dog to join the hunting excercise in Chikeme forest with the Hunters.
