Wonderful book!

After seeing another child with one of these books made for boys at a Sunday school class, I quickly found one for the little girls and their moms. I am so thrilled with this book. At the end of each story, the book gives you ideas (kind of like a suggestion for a conversation that relates to the story you just shared) to talk about with your daughter. This has helped me relate my life to my daughter's and teach her from my experiences. My daughter is five years old and this book has helped me see the world through her eyes. She totally "gets it" when I tell her stories of my life as a child that might relate to the particular story we read. My husband also likes to read these stories at night to her as well so it is not as if the book is written to exclude fathers. The illustrations are very pretty and the stories are not too long or complex. I like this book a lot. We ended up buying the other little book of prayers that goes along with this.

Sharing God's word with your daughter

I bought this book for my daughter for Christmas. And we love to curl up at bedtime to read a few bible stories. The illustrations are colorful and beautiful. The stories are written for a child and easy to understand. Each story has discussion questions that you can share with each other, and on every page, challenge your little girl to find the hidden angel in each picture. A lovely keepsake for mother and daughter, and makes teaching God's word easy in child's words. This book rates 5 stars and would make a lovely gift for your little one.

Great book for Mom's and Daughters

I highly recommend this book. Very easy for a child to understand and makes the parent think about his or her walk with God while teaching the child. Great item for those who don't think they have time to study the bible. Just open up the "Good Book" with your child or by yourself and study the passage after reading the section in the book!

Learn, Share, Make Memories

This Bible is a great way to learn God's Word and for Mom and Daughter to spend time together. The stories are told in such a way that this generation can relate to those who lived long before us. The stories and summaries are easy reading and the section, "Mom's Touch" gives an opportunity for mom to share her life experiences and what God has done in her. My daughter loves hearing my stories, so it's also a great way for her to learn about my life journey and also to make lifetime memories through sharing! Oh, and don't forget the WONDERFUL illustrations and the tiny angels throughout! I'll be getting a Bible for me and my son, and my sisters-in-law and nephews will be receiving theirs for Christmas!

Thoughful and Whimsical, Invitation to Care & Share!

Special book for little girls. I gave three for gifts and received very positive feedback from moms. The illustrations are delightful! Make sure you hunt for the little angel with pink & white polka dot wings in every picture! Each chapter is an open invitation for dialogue about the Bible story and how its teachings relate to our everyday lives. I can't wait to add the other books by the same author & illustrator to my favorite little girl's collection.
