Little Bird and Little Bug

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat;
And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;

Once upon a time, in May
A little bird was sad one day.
The other birds had left that morn
And Little Bird was now forlorn.

"To hunt for food they wake up early
But early always make me surly
So I slept in, now I'm alone.
The other birds are not at home."

So Little Bird flew down to see
If any other kids were free.
For he had just learned how to fly.
He was so proud He could soar high
