Little Bear Goes Walking

By Ginger Nielson

A bear cub leaves his mama bear asleep in a sunny meadow and goes for an unexpected walk in the forest. The cub encounters several surprising events. They surprise him but

he is not afraid. The intention shows that sometimes we can be surprised by an event, but we don't need to be afraid. Little Bear understands that he is safe, even when some things

that surprise him are new. The book contains many repetitive phrases that children can easily learn to read and repeat as the book continues. For early readers it is a lovely way to

begin learning words. The mission of the book is to create a sense of comfort and family connections.

This book can be read to a child, and the pictures are linked so closely to the repeat phrases that a child can remember and read the book "alone". The additional Fun Pages contain a Maze, Bear Fun Facts, and some Riddles to enjoy.
