Literature and Politics in the Later Foucault

This study proposes a revised interpretation of Foucault's position on literature.It has always been argued that his interest in literature was limited to the 1960s and of a depoliticized nature. However, Foucault's unpublished works suggest a reevaluation of his position on literature by taking into account his political concerns. Thus, Foucault's ideas will be repositioned in the context of recent debates on the politics of literature.
