With herons, sparrows, and house martins; fields and bodies of water that look like mirrors; sharks and whales and transformed sons---Issue 5 of Lit Shark Magazine is absolutely lovely, lyrical, original, and memorable.

Some of the pieces here made us feel good and made us feel seen; others were gorgeously written; and some kept us thinking long after we turned the page and continued to read. There's a wonderful blend of beauty and grief, comfort and push, to this collection, and we could not be happier to see it out in the world.
