Coming to Terms with Oneself

I am a fan of Alice Adams. Her books capture the sensibility of a certain type of upper class women and their lives and relationships. In this novel, a woman deals with her self and the relationships she had in her youth through middle age. She comes to terms with not liking in herself what she does not like in others.
