Liquid Gold Tattooed is Kyokos' second collection of poetry after releasing her first book, Big Feels: I feel too much , in October 2022. This collection is about love, pain and life from the authors perspective. It is full of emotions and raw feelings. There is something in Liquid Gold Tattooed that any human being could relate to. Kyokos' words speak directly from her heart and the depths of her soul. While this book does contain pieces about pain and sorrow, it also shows the authors resilience and includes pieces of healing and the beauty of finding inner strength. This books' theme focuses on the Japanese art and practice of repairing broken pottery, by mending the areas of breakage with gold, and understanding that the piece is even more beautiful for having been broken There is no attempt to hide the damage, but instead itis illuminated. And like the broken pottery pieces, we are all more beautiful for being broken. Our cracks and scars are on us are liquid gold tattooed .
