Outrageously Funny, Did we grow up together ?

A wonderful book that should delight woman of all ages. A must read ! Ms. Macsai has taken all the ups and downs of womanhood and put it in a book for all of us to share. Reading this book is like looking in the mirror, she touches on every poignant moment in a woman's life. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was non-stop laughter. The other day I shared the book with a friend at work and we went on-line to order 4 more copies for other friends.

The perfect book for my girlfriends and my mom.

I don't know Gwen Macsai's radio work, but this is some of the funniest--and truest--stuff about being a girl and a woman I've ever read. I loved her take on girls without girlfriends, girl crushes, the nightmares of dating, getting hitched and bearing children. There's more than enough in here for any woman today to relate to. I'm getting copies for my girlfriends and my mom!

I love this book!

A wonderful, therapeutic book. It made me laugh and cry and nod in agreement. It is so much more pleasureable to read than books like Promiscuity. So much more hopeful! I speak as a member of the generation that raised people Gwen's age and have always considered this group interesting. They are my generation's kids! I have learned a lot about this group from this book. From a "cool" mother!

A Great Read!

My friend, Bonnie, gave me "Lipshtick"...I loved it and really related to every chapter...In fact, I'm just going to change all of the names and pretend I wrote it myself! Gwen Mascai has a great wit and a wonderful way of looking at life's journey.

Having this book beside me is like being with a best friend or remembering the one I had in 4th grade. A must-read and a great girlfriend-gift. I laughted all kinds of laughs from hearty gawfas to the kind that make you greatful for panty liners. Macsai's the kind of girlfriend you wish you had or want to be. If you have a great girlfriend send them this book. The author suggests handing my copy off to a a friend, but Joyce, I'm sending one to you! This woman is a treasure and her stories are all of ours! YOU GO GIRL!
