NURSING STUDENT MUST!!!

This manual is a MUST for nursing students who want to review a medical diagnosis before clinical and before a test. Contains everything you need: pathophysiology, etiology, clinical manifestations, diagnostic tests, medical management, complications, nursing assessment, nursing diagnoses, and most importantly - nursing interventions. Manual contains Med/Surg, Maternity, Neonatal, Pediatric and Psychiatric nursing. Patient education portions contain specific diets (ie for Hypertension). Tables are included for drugs (class, drug name, usual dosage range and side effects). Excellent resource for licensed nurses, too!

A Must Have For Nursing Students & Value To The Layperson

This manual is an extraordinary resource both to the nursing student and the layperson. This book has much better quality information than one could expect to find in a general health book. If you have children or a sick adult in the house then this manual will be especially valuable to you. The information in the manual is quickly available, concise, accurate and practical.

A must have for all Nursing students!

During my very first clinical day of nursing school, I noticed a copy of this text floating around the nursing station. The second I opened it up I said "WOW!" Having just recently graduated (and passing the NCLEX!) I can honestly say that this was one of the most helpful books ever! This is Essential! This book never made it to my bookshelf because it was almost always being used! Excellent companion for writing care plans.

The Lippincott Manual of Nursing Practice

This book could literally be "a student nurses' bible for writing diagnosis and intervention". It is concise and very practical. I would be totally lost without one. It is a self taught manual.

Great reference for the RN or LPN students

An invaluable tool for helping students in their research of diagnoses and diseases.
