Simplistic style pop-up with flare

This is an older pop-up, but it still has flare (given the spectacular paper engineering done by Sabuda these days). The book has 5 spreads that follow two lion cubs as they grow up. Each spread becomes tree-dimensional as you open it. Then there are multiple pull-tabs to animate the spread further. These pull-tabs are quite impressive, not merely sliders (e.g., two cubs tumble and flip over each other). Topics are joining the pride, playing, raiding ostrich nests, hunting zebras, and resting after hunts. Test describes each scene.

Great for kids of all ages!

My son, 14 months old, loves this book. No matter where it is located on his large bookshelf, it is the first book he chooses to read EVERY time. I am ordering more National Geographic Action books; we already read Lion Cubs and Their Word three or more times a day and, even if he doesn't need variety, I do!
