Link has become an adult and he's been living with his uncle for the last seven years. Nothing remembers since then, but that does not seem to matter since other bigger problems attack the way of life of everyone in that nation. King Ganondorf, blinded by power and greed, rules with cruelty and tyranny, subduing those who oppose him.

Link did not believe a way to escape such a bitter reality was possible, until the arrival of the Hood, a veteran in his fifties who explains that the future of his people depends on him. Between discussions and questions Link agrees to be trained and guided by his new mentor, and together with him he meets someone he did not remember, the young Zelda, princess, wise and warrior of Hyrule.

The leader of the Hylian people entrusts Link with the search for the sages to ally forces against the armies of Ganondorf who are scattered throughout Hylia. There is only one way to accomplish the task, to survive the Wild Nature.
