Astonishingly Inspiring read, from beginning to end

This is my favorite book from Linda Goodman's collection. It encompasses so many aspects of metaphysics, and doesn't skimp on her amazing sense of humor throughout. I've gifted this book to 5 different people over the years, and they have all had similar experiences of profound adoration, and sometimes epiphany, from finishing this one. Obviously, I highly recommend this one, but also check out Linda Goodman's others. She was a great astrologer, and such an amazing person.

Never got my book.

I’ve read the book and it’s fantastic. It was on loan and I knew I’d reference it often and wanted my own. So I spent $10 on a book that never came. 💔 The tracking info says they’re still awaiting the package.

This book is a work of art.

This book is a work of art. I just learned who Linda Goodman was not too long ago and I've already read most of her books. This one is by far my favorite. There are concepts that I have never thought of before. I learned a lot. I have grown spiritually as well. I feel like now I am closer to all the answers that are rolling around in my head. Thank you Linda. RIP.

My First Spiritual Book

This was my first book that I read on spirituality many years ago. I remember it clearly and it makes me happy just thinking about it. I still remember being a struggling/starving college student and reading the section on money. How money was an energy...and that if you told yourself you were poor, you would be poor. And it struck me very deeply, because I always told myself...I'm just a poor college kid. But it all changed after reading this book....my path had begun. This book set the ground work of my future life and the person that I would become. The foundation of all my ideals and perspectives are still in this book.Even though this book is getting a little old, and Linda Goodman herself has passed on (or maybe not?)...this book still holds true and is worth the money and time to read it. I would suggest this book to anyone, it holds keys to unkown doors!

Essential Knowledge for the Esoteric Student

Approximately ten years ago, I checked this book out from the library and when I browsed the contents I was spooked and couldn't read it. I now know that "spooked" feeling comes when I am not ready to inherit such knowledge. In other words, I was not ready for this book. About six years ago, I read Star Signs in it's entirety and refer to it often when encountering life's mysteries. It is deep for the most part - one should not begin his or her spiritual journey with this book. Some prior knowledge of astrology and numerology is helpful. Goodman will educate you on your personal colors, herbs and foods that are good for your body, careers that you would be happy with, karma, past lives, and lexigrams. This book explains why some people can see ghosts and others cannot. Linda also touched on a quirky town in Colorado, Cripple Creek, that matched her eccentric personality (I had to visit this place after reading the book). There is so much information here - you will be able to refer back to it for your entire life! The bottom line is, Star Signs - written in 1987 - was way before it's time, however, Linda died five years ago so the knowledge had to be transmitted prematurely. I hope there is a resurgence of this book in the near future.

AN ABSOLUTE DELIGHT

The late Linda Goodman (she died at the age of seventy) wrote in an amusing and informative manner which was more fun than scientific. The chapter on numerology was fascinating as it gives certain herbs, colours, foods and jewelry which are beneficial to a "5" person, for instance.I have yet to try her theory of ingesting orange and yellow foods in order to lose weight, but a friend of mine swears it works! This is Goodman's ultimate collection of New Age wisdom and it's downright fun to read: highly recommended!

Practical guide to new age topics.

Linda Goodman's Star Signs is simply brilliant. She teaches throughout the book how to tune into the awesome higher angel of yourself, known as the Higher Self. Moreover, it is a practical guide to the new age, instead of being 300 pages of abstract new age babble. Linda Goodman also shows the practical ways in which you can make yourself and others happy. She discusses money and possession as they relate to universal law; relates how essential it is to be happy in one's career; GIVES ANCIENT FORMULAS FOR GAINING OR LOSING WEIGHT EASILY; teaches how to unlock mysteries of yourself, others, and the universe through lexigramming and numerology; and shows how to obtain mastery over the body through immortality. I believe in what she says in the immortality chapter, but I don't think it's as easily attainable as she says, nor do I think everyone is at the appropriate level to achieve it. Jesus Christ, an ascended master, was on the level to achieve immortality had he desired it; but the rest of us may have a long way to go. Still, it can't hurt to apply the steps she gives in the immortality chapter. YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCEPT ALL THAT LINDA GOODMAN SAYS IN THE BOOK, BUT DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND READ THIS SPECTACULAR WORK.
