WOW!!! I just finished reading Lanny Poffo's book, "Limericks from the Heart(and Lungs!). As a mom and an aunt I would strongly recommend this book to anyone with small children. It is very entertaining as well as educational! The author is very talented and funny! This book should be read to all children in elementary school as part of the curriculum. Keep up the good work Lanny!

This book is just as much fun as books by DR.Suess and Shel Silverstien, while relentlessly driving home its point about smoking. My son brought it to school and the teacher read the limericks to the children. They loved it! There is also a glossary for building young vocabularies. I feel that this book should win a Newbury Medal!

Limericks from the Heart (and Lungs!) is truly a unique, educational and motivational book that is sure to persuade much of today's youth to make the right choice not to smoke. As a teacher, I highly recommend this book to parents and educators! Lanny's clever combination of his unique poetry, focusing on an anti-smoking theme, has grabbed my students' attention in realizing the importance of living a smoke-free life! I believe this extraordinary book will save countless lives which is the mission of this book's author!

A BOOK THATS A TRUE BLESSING

WOW! I JUST FINISHED READING LANNY POFFOS BOOK"LIMRICKS FROM THE HEART AND LUNGS" AND I REALLY LOVED IT. THIS WRITER IS VERY TALENTED. HE USES CLEVER AND CUTE LIMERICKS AND FAMOUS PEOPLE FROM HISTORY TO TEACH THE YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY THAT SMOKING IS WRONG AND BAD FOR THEM. IF YOUR A LIBRARIAN AT A HOUSE OF WORSHIP OR A SCHOOL OR A PUBLIC LIBRARY OR IF YOUR A PARENT OR GRAND PARENT OR IF YOUR AN UNCLE(LIKE iAM) THEAN PLEASE GET SEVERAL COPYS OF THIS BOOK CAUSE IT IS A BOOK THAT CAN TEACH KIDS AT AN EARLY AGE TO STAY AWAY FROM CIGERETES AND SMOKING. IT IS A VERY WORTH WHILE BOOK AND CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE IN ALOT OF KIDS LIFES. IF YOUR A TEACHER, LIBRARIAN, OR MEMBER OF THE CLERGEY PLEASE GET A FEW COPYS OF THIS BOOK IT WILL REALLY HELP THE KIDS THAT YOU WORK WITH.

Ths book is so funny. It's cool cause it gives kids some credit, instead of talking down to us, but it has a glossary just in case. (the french words are a little confusing w/out it.) 'Look, human see, human do!" was so funny. Its got good pictures to. I like this book.
