When Lilly and her family decide to volunteer at an old folks home they meet some very wonderful people. Their eyes are filled with not only love but lonliness because none of their family members ever come to visit them. However one of them has nothing but love in her eyes for the family that has came to help them. Soon they find out that her name is Ruth. Immediately Lilly falls in love with her and can't imagine why anybody would put her in a bad home like this one. Right away there is a Grandma presence with her and Ruth feels like she has found a true family to call her own. The feelings are mutual from Lilly's family. Soon the decide to legally adopt her with open and loving arms. Now Grandma Ruth has a new loving family. Along the way the family puts a stop to nursing home neglect. Meanwhile Sarah and Kayla reunite a lost and angry young man with his Parent's. Which settles his hurt heart. The rest of the people who were living in this bad home weren't quite sure what was going to happen to them. After finding out what was going on in this home others form Lilly's and her family's Church also legally adopted the resident's . Now Grandma Ruth and her friends all had a happy and loving home to go to.
