Three high school seniors have their coming-of-age moments interrupted by the murder of their childhood best friend. An event that should have shaken their tiny Appalachian town is barely noticed, leading them to hunt her killer.

Peter is grieving the loss of both the recently murdered Abigail Alamilla and his childhood innocence. Frankly, he isn't thrilled by the whole "vigilante justice" business. Ametri is fighting a lot of demons, and losing to most of them. But, he'll do anything to help his loved ones. Cor is collecting burdens like trading cards.
