Raqhid Jevon Render, also known as Lil Keed, started to make music in the early years. While in Atlanta and going through a rough time, he posted on social media and gained some small local recognition. During his teenage years, Lil Keed worked with his younger brother, Semaja Render, recording music online. In 2017, he released some singles, which branched him out into becoming a more well-known trap artist.
Lil Keed was one of the most promising rappers in the hip-hop community. He was nominated for the 10th spot for XXL's Freshman Class for 2019 and was also included in XXL's next year's Freshman Class for 2020. He was super close with his rapping idol, Young Thug, and was also signed to Young Thug's record label, YSL Records.
