Fine as a new scrapped carrot!

You will have to chain this book to your office or coffee table in order to keep it. These are the phrases everybody's grandmother used sitting next to the woodstove. Even if "her kitchen wasn't big enough to cuss a cat in without getting a mouthful of fuzz"! Admit it! You watched "The Beverly hillbillies" and you secretly wished you could insert some of those similies and metaphors in your party patter. As esoteric as you may be now each of us can revel in a fantasy where "You're too poor to paint and too proud to whitewash". This is just plain fun to read and rediscover how many similies you've forgotten; and then reintroduce them into your conversation. Just plain folk! I've set mine out in my waiting room and have had to track it down so often that I've relegated it to being in plain sight at all times.
