Wonderful Experience!

Paulo Coelho - And, it has been a wonderful experience reading Alchemist and later, The Fifth Mountain and Like the Flowing River:Thoughts and Reflections. While the book narrates his experiences down the time, his writing is indeed poetic which brings in hope and joy to the soul. This book is an intimate collection of the Author and powerful short stories of life and spirituality - speaking of life, destiny, love and more. When I met the Author online through his writings, it had been pleasure placing him as a Columnist and reading his books and articles became my passion. Some of the titles covered in this book which I like most are: 1. The story of the Pencil 2. Genghis Khan and his Falcon 3. On Manuel 4. Restoring the web 5. Raj tells me a story 6. This book was not purchased for myself, my sister received that book as a present. She had long waited to received a copy and now she was able. She Enjoyed this book very much - along with total bitz for the writter. She enjoyes all his work. Good purchase for the price.

Very inspiring

This is a very inspiring book. When you are in despair, doubt, and feel there is no light at the end of the tunnel.. read this one. It will open up your mind and heart and lift up your spirit. Life is hard, but one thing that you must believe in... thing happens for a reason. Go and pick this book , you will not regret it. Life is full of surprises and this book will convience you too.

Wonderful and Inspiring

Paulo Coelho is so down-to-earth yet wise. I picked up this book while travelling in Germany. I started to read the start to get an idea of it and simply couldn't put it down. As I read more, I decided that I wanted to share it with my family so I looked online and realized that it hasn't been published in a lot of countries yet. It seems like a coincidence that I happened to buy it when I did, and especially at this point in my life. It's compiled of many short stores (only 1-3 pages each. They are mostly his life experiences and the experiences of people he has met through his life. It is a wonderful book, I find it gives me hope, makes me think, and fills me with serenity. Although some bits are a tad too religious, I have found it overall truly magnificent.

Read It, Loved It

I heard about this book from several people and decided to pick up a copy. A variety of short didactic stories, each teaching through an intriguing tale. Good short reads for just before going to bed. Very human. Enlightening. Highly recommended.
