Can’t believe I finished this one

I cannot believe I finished this one. I read this as part of a book club. First 65 pages I was asking myself if I was far enough along to DNF? Have I given it a fair chance? I felt like it was all over place really making no sense. I pushed forward intrigued just enough to see if Elizabeth was doing all these things. I struggled and may have skimmed a lot. The characters were not likable and I felt no connection with them. Except maybe Sadie the dog 😀 The profanity was a bit much for me. I seen this book gets rave reviews but it just wasn’t for me.
