Like Clockwork is a fun coloring book for anyone who loves coloring, clocks, and pictures that are related to the workings of clocks. It has 43 single-sided illustrations that are suitable for most ages, and each picture contains at least one clock or parts found in a clock. Some of the images are just a specially designed clock, and other images will have a clock in a situation, such as a clock dripping out of a faucet like a drop of water, a clock as the moon against a dark skyline, and more. As in this artist's general style, Like Clockwork contains many geometric elements. Artist Nola Hintzel has a constant struggle with time, and felt the best way to address it and come to terms with it would be to create a half serious, half whimsical book about clocks. While she is one of those people who likes to have a diverse selection of watches to wear, she also believes there are simply not enough hours in a day, and a day should have about 30 hours instead of 24. She completes this coloring book with the finale illustration featuring a UFO beaming up a load of clocks into it. Does anybody really know what time it is?
