AN EXCELLENT 5 STARS PLUS STORY

Oh, yes "Fabio" on the cover ---- Lauren Bradley was talked into becoming a spy for the Union Army. They wanted to stop the blockade runners and most notorious was Captian Adrian Cabot with his ship the Specter. The Specter becomes a ghost in the night and evades capture. Lauren is told that Captian Cabot is responsible for her twin brother, Lawrence's death. She must make the decision to betray her brother or this notorious Captian. Adrian Cabot, an Englishman, has his own agenda which is to accumulate wealth. Gun running and supplies is a profitable sideline to the regular cargo. Most amazing is that his ship and that of the other blockade runners are not armed with any weapons. One of Adrian's old friends is Captian Clay Harding with whom he makes an ill conceived wager. Lauren is told to become a passenger on the Specter and instructed in how to sabatoge the engine. This will lead to the capture of the notorious sea wolf. Only she finds then that she must rescue him from prison. She is ingenious in using Adrian's little "old man" monkey, who has a reputation of biting everyone he meets - except Lauren. Adrian Cabot was a very private person yet Lauren perceived him to have a wounded soul. This is a story that keeps you reading to find out what happens next. What a great story - definitely a keeper. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -m [beg, borrow or lift it from a friend, you won't be sorry].
