Beauty of Christmas: The beauty of Christmas is first and foremost the celebration of the real Christmas Story found in the Holy Bible with the Birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Who came to bring love, hope, and salvation to the world.
The beauty of Christmas embodies joy, generosity and togetherness in a world of love, hope and faith.
The Twelve Disciples: Jesus chose Twelve Disciples to symbolize the 12 Tribes of Israel to be witnesses to His Life, Teachings and Miracles.
"Follow Me and I Will Make You Fishers of Men"
Cross of Christ: On that first Good Friday, Jesus Christ, carrying His own Cross, struggled up the hillside of Golgotha where He was nailed to the Cross and placed between two criminals.
The Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ are the two most important events in Christian history.
His Resurrection represents victory over death and everlasting life in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
The Resurrection proclaimed victory over death and opens our eyes to confident hope for an eternal future in the Heavenly Kingdom of God.
Without the Resurrection, there would be no Apostolic foundation for the Christian church.
Jesus then gave His last earthly command (the Great Commission) to His Disciples.
The Great Commission: The Great Commission endowed His Disciples to become Apostles who were to:
1. Share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people
2. Baptize believers
Easter Story: The Easter Story is at the heart of Christianity proclaiming Jesus Christ as our Savior and the Light of the World.
Light is a symbol of holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope, and God's Revelation (the way in which He reveals Himself to people).
Christianity: Christianity gives humanity their greatest asset - Faith in God and Jesus Christ
It gives humanity a reason to life in this world and in the eternal world to come in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
Christianity is lived in relationship with God through Jesus Christ, Christian fellowship in the church and through serving our fellow human being.
Service is central to Christian belief because we follow a God who loves and a Christ who came to serve.
Holy Spirit: A person touched by the Holy Spirit is forever changed.
God becomes the Lord of our heart.
Jesus Christ becomes our companion in our daily walk in life.
When thoughts, attitudes and desires are focused on the "self" and their surroundings rather than on spiritual matters, it affects the eternal future of the soul.
God is the ultimate subject of awe and wonder radiating reverence via the Holy Spirit
Awe and wonder inspires, motivates and energizes our thinking to experience a feeling of amazement and admiration for beauty, something rare or the unexpected.
Awe and wonder can humble people through the moral beauty of kindness, courage and the ability to overcome adversity.
Salvation: Seeing beyond this world we have a sense that there is something beyond this life and Someone beyond this world.
Seeing beyond this world is a place where love, justice, peace and joy reign supreme.
The Biblical revelation of salvation of the soul should lead us to become responsible for our lives as the Gift of Salvation can only come from God through Jesus Christ.
Society: Society thrives on wholesome values.
A good society has a rich, dominant culture and is politically stable.
Dysfunctional people destroy society.
Peace of Mind
Peace of mind affects the quality of life that allows us to enjoy each moment, free from worry, guilt, shame or self-condemnation.
It is also an important characteristic of spiritual wellbeing.
Its unseen currents radiate inner contentment of being at peace with the present and within.
A world without God is deprived of spiritual values and realities.
