Is There Light After Darkness

Light of Dawn is the third and final book in Vannetta Chapmann's The Remnant Series. The first and second book is Deep Shadows and Raging Storm, respectfully. It has been almost nine months since the devastating solar flare that changed life, as people once knew it. Food and medical supplies are still scarce and people must depend on their instincts in order to survive. There is also no law and order, and basically people and killing and stealing and getting away from it. Shelby, Max Berkman and their friends, at the Governor of Texas' request, set out into the unknown to find the "new government" that has been set up Their journey takes the group from Texas to Kansas to a place that is know as Flint Hill, to see if that is were the "new government" is located. What danger, destruction and hardships will the group face, since their last venture into the city of Austin, to find insulin for Shelby's diabetic son, Carter. Will they reach Kansas safe and sound and will they find this "new government" at Flint Hills. I really, really enjoyed reading Light of Dawn, and also Deep Shadows and Raging Storm. The characters are well developed by the author, Vannetta Chapman. And to honest I read the book in one day, as I could not wait to see if Shelby and her friends reach Flint Hills. I highly recommend the entire The Remnant Series.
