Haiku - feelings of freedom Correspondence. That's what a haiku is. The internal authenticity reflected in the external and in that which is deepest. Inherent in three lines. The word created the beginning. It is always the word. Being both foundation, and building material. The direction for development. Haiku. With the most significant syllables it captures a moment. Embodying the moment in words. A dynamic array of moments captured in words from the universal stream of thought. A domicile for the universal. From the source of the deepest Eastern insight it reveals the connection between depth and appearance. The haikuist. Merely an observant eye? He is the intermediary of the connection. That which directs the word towards the utterance. Takes the word and guards it, from perception through conveyance into an expression of the essence. The stream of the surface, the objective stimulus, flows towards the deepest congruence. Meeting in the poet. A reflection of beauty. Through words in the poet.
