A boy named Uriel lives in the village of Lumen with his grandfather. The village was once full of light and hope, until a dark shadow began to cover the land. This darkness brought sadness and a feeling of hopelessness to the people.



His grandfather believes that Uriel has a special gift within. Once Uriel learns the necessary skills, he is commissioned by his grandfather to seek out the Great One in the mountains above the shadowland.
