From the bowels of the earth this work comes and goes. Trish rises and falls to within an inch of her life. She pulls through in a metaphysical backdrop where her whole existence is tested. Dreams of delight and tragedy fuels an esoteric path. The spiritual drive within Trish moves her towards complete transformation.
Words are used as if they were fabric wrapped around her soul, deeply entrenched in spiritual wanderings of nightmare and euphoric proportions. She navigates mountains, digs into her own grave, masters climbing a rainbow, as well as freedom from persecution. There are made up words in the poem Seaside Frolics, inspired by the poet Dylan Thomas who also made up words. This is one woman's journey through the dark night of the soul and the exploration of her mind.
