Life's Ups & Downs Part 2: Poems That Make You Laugh & Cry

In this second collection of poetry, I share spontaneous reflections on life's most raw emotions-pain, disappointment, love, and, above all, the faith and hope that help us carry on. While many poems explore these heavier themes, I also bring in humor and lighthearted moments, often drawn from real-life situations, including the antics of our dog, Turbo (Yogie).

Each poem is crafted with rhyme, adding rhythm and flow, making them enjoyable to read from beginning to end. Throughout the book, you'll also find images of my own artwork-paintings, drawings, and photographs-that complement the words and bring an added layer of connection to the themes I explore.

My poems are inspired by both my personal experiences and the stories of others-those I've known and those I've simply heard about. I hope these poems evoke empathy and understanding in readers, touching on feelings that many of us share. Life may be difficult, but there's always humor to be found, and through faith, hope, and love, we find the strength to keep going.

I wrote these poems with the intention to uplift, to make you smile even in hard times, and to encourage a sense of anticipation for what's to come in my next book.
