Lifelines=restored sanity

Pollan and Levine have long been the life raft for navigating the waters of adult life. This book touches on every uncomfortable and inevitable facet of our increasingly complicated life. This book will be on my gift list for the growing numbers of friends that are facing unemployment, starting new businesses, parting with loved ones and crushing financial hardships. The logical and sympathetic writing style makes the difficult subjects less frightening. It might not be a pillow but it certainly can help you sleep better at night.

Lifelines For Money Misfortunes

Lifelines hits on every possible emotion that I have recently experienced during 2 concurrent "life traumas". It is honest, insightful and encouraging with REAL advice as well as a practical game plan. Make no mistake, this is tough love with sound advice for every possible curve ball life throws your way. I'm sure to refer back to LIFELINES and will share with friends and family.

Smart thinking for tough times

Stephen Pollan offers extremely clear, understandable and practical advice for steering our way through any number of difficult financial circumstances. Without ignoring the emotionjal impact that comes with these struggles, he goes well beyond telling us to "cheer up because things will get better" and guides us, with a strong and steady hand, from catastrophe to clarity. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

The Secrets of Coping

Pearls of wisdom from a man who makes personal crisis management into an art form. He writes from experience. Pollan understands the link between our personal, career, and financial lives. His positive attitude turns darkness into light while offering practical solutions. Here are some of life's biggest problems, from losing your job to losing your spouse and from bankruptcy to disabling disease. Pollan's advice cannot make us enjoy suffering, but it can help us cope with it better.

Thank you, again.

I have been a teacher in New York City for 10 years. A room full of 11 year olds will instantly smell the moment you don't really have a grasp on what your trying to convey, or worst of all, when you are trying to sell them something you really don't believe in. It is always best to teach in an honest and open manner while weighing the variables with an open mind. Mark Levine and Stephen Pollen are some of the best teachers out there. I became familiar with them with their "Lifescripts" series and then have purchased, and have used as key reference material, their practical financial guides from "Die Broke" to "It's All In Your Head". I'm no Trump, but as a teacher in one of the world's largest financial markets that says I should be living elsewhere based on my salary, I'm actually thriving. The practical and honest guidance these writers give has helped me greatly. After reading "Lifelines", I believe I could not only survive, but continue to thrive, after any financial misfortunes we "Non-Trumps" might encounter. Thank you again. -Will Martin
