This book was written by a personal chef with a family and passion for adapting and experimenting with recipes into healthier dishes. Her first experiences in the gourmet food business were working in the kitchens of Lesley Stowe and John Bishop in Vancouver, BC. She has a passion for healthy eating and it is reflected in her wide variety of great tasting recipes. I met the author at the book launch / cooking demo at Barbara Jo's Books For Cooks. I learned that Erin taught cooking classes in healthy cooking techniques, developed Vancouver's Spa at the Century's spa cuisine, and prepared healthy meals for people requiring specialized meal planning and diet services. Some of her celebrity clients include actors: Tom Arnold, Alicia Silverstone and Lisa Rinna as well as pop music star Shakira.
