Everything happens for a reason; even in our darkest of days, we SURVIVE

The vision behind the Life Untold book series was to write a letter as if I were talking to a trusted friend. Ten percent of all book sales will be used to create the Selina Girtie Center.

A center for our youth to escape hardships such as hunger, abuse, or mental health. When I envision the center, I imagine a non-medical building with white walls where local artists can paint murals to be creative and themselves. I hear music and dancing on Friday nights like in the 90s, one of our favourite past times, pool tables, arcade games, a meal and talking services such as counselling are free of charge. A coping space like mine was always the beach
