Encouraging and uplifting.

This is one of the best books I have read this year. Scott is a great storyteller! The book is written so that you can read a few pages at a time or the whole book in one afternoon. Scott offers a great deal of scripture resources and prayer with each story. I would give this book to a friend going through some difficult days. Very inspiring!

A book that offers comfort.

This book was recommended to me when my Father was diagnosed with cancer. It offered me comfort, hope and promise,to know that life goes on. One of the things that stuck with me about this book was the quote about death being a horizon limited only by sight. I have loaned this book to many people over the last 10 years and recently gave it away to a friend of mine whose father was murdered. I am hopeful that when I need it again, I will be able to find it.
