A woman's story of how faith helped her through the loss of her father-in-law, a close friend, two of her friends' children, her first son being diagnosed with autism and then having her second child... This description may be from another edition of this product.
As a father of a child with lissencephaly, I most certainly can relate to most items Janet talks about in this book. With exceptions: The most notable is that my baby girl (well I guess she's not a baby anymore, she's almost two!) is still alive... and well, all considered. I think I picked up the book expecting to read more about the everyday life with a liss child. It didn't happen to be the way I expected, but that does not take away from the book, or the story being related. What I took away from it, was a lesson of faith. For those of you on support networks, you know what I speak of. Death of our little ones is more constant that anyone would care to see - and for those who've had death visit their door to take their angels back to heaven: There is Life After Grief. It will assure you that you most certainly are not alone. ...

Janet Rosauer's words are calm and spiritually sincere as she reassures us that her faith is strong. You can't help but be moved by her "knowing" sense of what really matters most in our lives. Simply stated, this is a lovely story of pain, joy, loss and moving on with grace.
