An excellent financial resource!

As a recent graduate of college with a lot of debt from student loans, I found that this book is extremely helpful in giving a plethora of useful tips and suggestions on how to make the most of my money. From paying back those loans and credit card debt, to tips on buying a car and renting an apartment, there is so much valuable information that I higly recommend to any recent graduate . . . or anybody else seeking financial advice.

I graduated college a couple of years ago. Recently a friend of mine gave me this book. I wish I had this book after high school. It has so many money saving ideas that it inspired me to find more ways to save money. The finacial advise is sound and will help anyone looking to learn the basics of home finances. The book does not go beyond the basics of investing but it will give you enough information to be able learn more. Even if you have a good finances there are ideas here that can help you save even more money. Get the book for any person looking to strike out on their own or for anyone looking to find more ways to finacial success.

Invaluable Reference Guide

I can already see that this will be the book that I'll find most valuable after graduation. It oulines basic facts that one would normally overlook when making purchasing decisions, budgeting and reducing overall costs of living. The book is very logically laid out which will allow for easy reference in the future.

money saver!

This book is great! I got it as a gift from a friend and have enjoyed it thoroughly. It has great information and the contents are very easy to follow. Although there were a few things I knew about, there was still a lot of valuable information that I was able to use. After seeing how much the book cost my friend, I was surprised. I have only had the book a week and have easily saved more money than the book is valued at. This is a great investment and strongly recommend it. Believe me, you will get your money's worth!

Good advice for getting the most bang for your buck!

After graduating college and entering the "real world", most people see their first "real" job as a gravy train. The money is good but they fail to realize that expenses are also high. They need some financial advice/guidance and ways to save money - this book is a valuable tool. Every graduating student, regardless of their major, should read this book. Parents, if you want your children to take the first steps on the road to financial independence, buy this book for your college graduates. The money you spend will pay high dividends in the end. I read this book in an effort to save myself some money and to pick up tips and advice that I could pass onto my kids concerning money and money management. This book has some great advice and also gives specific examples. Highly recommended.
