Family secrets can be deadly.

Liam is a charismatic smooth-talker, but when the police accept his disappearance as suicide his older brother Tom can't agree. Tom needs to find out what happened to Liam.

Tom and his sister Andi begin their search at Liam's flat in London. While there, a woman visits looking for Liam and steals some of his work documents before disappearing. Now they have two missing people.

As Tom and Andi try to find out what has happened to Liam, and what role the missing woman plays, they suspect they are being followed.

Tom follows Liam's trail to France and Switzerland, trying to decipher his brother's cryptic clues. As he discovers more, their suspicions turn to certainty when their lives are threatened.

Andi tells her estranged husband what is happening and they take their twin daughters to safety. But nowhere is safe.

As the odds escalate and their lives are in danger, Tom realises the truth may have too high a price.
