The LGBTQIA+ community has a long history of discrimination and stigma. For many years, members of the community have been ostracized, treated as second-class citizens, and subjected to hate crimes. While things have begun to improve in recent years, largely due to the efforts of LGBTQIA+ rights activists, there is still a long way to go.It is estimated that there are approximately 10 million people worldwide who identify as LGBTQIA+. That number is likely much higher, as many people do not feel safe coming out due to the fear of discrimination. The exact origins of the LGBTQIA+ community are unknown, but it is thought that it has existed for centuries. Discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people can take many forms, from verbal harassment and abuse to physical violence and even murder.Roe v Wade is probably by far the most damaging case in U.S history and has Certainly regressed women's rights fifty years which has definitely shocked the whole world, especially those who were at the forefront of women's rights protests who continue to fight for their Bodily autonomy - I'm afraid for everyone else's including, LGBTQIA+ rights and so on.
