This book was a lucky find for me

I was browsing in the discounted book section of bookstore one day (looking for a birthday gift for someone I wasn't particularly fond, but was still obligated to buy a gift for), when this book caught my eye. Not quite a recipe book, it's organized like an encyclopedia, but still contains many excellent (and authentic) recipes as well as a wealth of information on ingredients used in asian cooking. Examples of what you will find inside - How tofu is made - Recipes for Korean barbeque sauce, ginger wine, mandarin pancakes, samoosas, garam masala spice mix, tapioca dessert, sushi, vindaloo - You can learn about white mushrooms, water caltrop, various thickeners The book is awesome
