These letters span about 43 years of my life - a time mostly lived in India. While my autobiography basically deals with my walk with God, the letters preserved the daily happenings surrounding it. They bring to life the people I encountered and the start and growing of the homes. Maybe it brings home the audacity and the daring involved in doing all these things we did. It also brings home the incredible amount of work done by simple tribal boys, slum kids and others. Some years ago I told God, "Father what is the use of all these things I experience, the knowledge I gained, if it all dies with me?" But even then God had a plan for all this, my experience etc.; they would not die with me but would be shared with others, hopefully for their edification and enjoyment. These letters should also be an encouragement for those who teeter-totter on the edge of stepping out for God. Surely if God permits a man like me to serve him then who is beyond the pale of acceptance?
