The fun formula for those who like the formula

Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) finds a misplaced love letter years later and decides to bring the two lovers together to see what happens. It just happens to be in Italy. On the side, Sophie finds that there may be a little romance of her own. This film has everything needed for romance, cheesy acting, formulaic story, predictable twists, and great scenery. Oh yes, there is music also, "Show Me What I'm Looking For" by Carolina Liar. Anyone who likes this formula can overlook the fact that there is nothing unique. Do not look for any depth or insights.
