Letters To Dr. Priestley In Answer To His Letters To The Jews Part Two

By David Levi

Book Overview

""Letters To Dr. Priestley In Answer To His Letters To The Jews Part Two"" is a book written by David Levi. It is a collection of letters that were written in response to Dr. Joseph Priestley's ""Letters to the Jews"" which were published in 1786. In his letters, Priestley attempted to convert Jews to Christianity by arguing that the Old Testament prophesied the coming of Jesus Christ. Levi, a Jewish scholar, responded to Priestley's arguments by providing a Jewish perspective on the Old Testament and its prophecies. The book is divided into two parts, with the second part containing Levi's responses to Priestley's second set of letters. The book provides an interesting insight into the religious debates of the late 18th century and is a valuable resource for anyone interested in Jewish-Christian relations and the history of biblical interpretation. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
