Starting with the spiritual principle of anonymity, these letters convey the personal growth toward conscious connection with the Power that beats our hearts, gives us peace and strength. Spiritual growth is in each example, followed by quotes from higher consciousness such as Donne, Emerson, Eckhart, St Teresa de Avila that have opened other doors in a thirst for more of what these letters offer. I give a copy to each friend I'm sure is a seeker of the Father of Light.

A wonderful devotional book

This is the third copy I've bought (one for me; two for friends). Each devotional is a stand alone piece. The wisdom is from modern day back through as early as 1300s or 1400s. The various pieces are quietly supportive and encouraging without any preaching - like the title says, 'Letters' from a wise friend/brother/sister. I highly recommend this book.
