Letters Of The Observer is a philosophical novel that tells the story of Joseph Rizk, a young adult who moves to Paris, France to study philosophy at the Sorbonne in order to lead a better life. While extremely intellectual and self-aware, he is a complete misanthrope, filled with anger, self-hatred, and despair. As Joseph was ready to begin his academic journey, he meets Noor, a Dutch lady that also studies philosophy. His encounter with Noor reveals a part of Joseph that he thought had vanished. In 1895's Paris, the human condition of all the characters is put to the test, and the lines between sanity and insanity, love and hatred, are blurred.
