A story of the Human-Animal Bond

I know Ms Trost personally, and therefore may be biased in my opinion, but I may also be in a position to best see the truth and reality of her story. I am a veterinarian in the practice where she takes her cats. I am not familiar with some of the personalities she refers to in her story, but I recognize several of the other later characters. I found it a joy to read about the creatures I know as patients...to have their other natures revealed to me. It is a side of them I don't get to see when they visit me in the clinic. I would recommend this book to people of all ages who enjoy reading about the human-animal bond..especially fom the pet's side of the story.
