Working with the criminal element in today's world can be very intense. The trauma that victims face often leaves them with scars that seldom heal. The same applies to those that swore to protect and serve. Agent Beaux Kincaid of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) works for a federal branch that specifically targets the bottom feeders that prey on children. A cold case that haunts this agent is because the culprit is still loose that murdered his childhood friend. When Kincaid is sent to New York to work on a case with similar characteristics he is teamed up with a detective who has a beautiful twin sister who happens to be the medical examiner for the city. Originally from Louisiana, Agent Kincaid is not too thrilled about being sent to the big apple. New York does not appeal to him at all until he meets Dr. Chelsea Alexander.
