easy reading with TV tie in

My four year old daugher selected this one herself-- it was in the Scholastic book order from school but with that one you had to get books 1-12 so I thought we should start with less books. We read through the whole thing once but she hasn't been interested in trying it again. She isn't really interested in trying to read herself yet, which is fine with me. As far as plot, there are interesting things to read, but something about Diego caught her eye and I let her have some tv tie in books, as she enjoys both the tv tie in books and good literature.

Good for getting the kids to read

I love these Phonics readers with multiple stories in one book. This one has 6 stories in one book, my son loves looking at books but needs encouragement to get his reading done. When we're done one story, he wants to keep going. If I sat down with him and brought over 6 single story books, he'd have a fit. With this book, getting our 20 mins of reading in is easy.
