Dora E. Vel squez naci en Reynosa, Tamaulipas en 1951. Trabaj por 30 a os como maestra de adolescentes en Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Su extenso camino por las aulas le dio magia a su esp ritu inquieto, la cual usa para retratar fant sticas vivencias y emociones que transmite a trav s de esta obra.

Sus poemas se inspiran en los seres de luz que rodearon su vida. Lo emotivo, lo amoroso, lo cotidiano y lo divino se mezclan fuertemente con la fantas a, para que no duela tanto la realidad.

Dora E. Vel squez was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas in 1951. She worked for 30 years as a high school teacher in Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Her extensive journey through the classroom gave magic to her restless spirit, which she uses to portray fantastic experiences and emotions that she transmits through this work.

Her poems are inspired by the beings of light that surrounded her life. The emotional, the loving, the everyday and the divine are strongly mixed with fantasy, in a way that helps reality hurt a little less.
