Short in statue

I am a woman of color!

Writing poetry has never been a gift taken for granted. Those familiar with my poetry know it is reflective of current events, history and experiences, harmonious and disjointed - personal and shared. The negativity of the past few years made it challenging to write without anger. I have allowed TRUTH to shine in each of my poems.This, my eighth book of poetry, is dedicated to NOKORE or TRUTH. NOKORE is one of 60-plus symbols not commonly included on West African Adinkra symbol wall charts. Appendix B in LET TRUTH SHINE will showcase more than 120 West African Adinkra symbols.
