A warm and compelling book that enables readers to see themselves with fresh tenderness. It offers hope and encouragement in the face of the hectic stress-filled demands of contemporary life.... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I love this book because it speaks from a practical woman's point of view about finding God in the common things of life. The book has humor and the experiences of family. At the same time the message is very profound and thought provoking. I will read this book over and over.
Exactly what the first word of its title states: Lessons.

I've heard Pat Livingston speak many times. One of the key lessons she learned from life is the question: What have I learned from life? What can I learn from this experience? In her book she tells the reader many of her experiences and what "the Lesson" was. Surprise -- I found myself stepping back from my everyday experiences and saying, "Now what can I learn from this?"She's a good speaker. Now I see that she's an excellent writer -- because as I read I wasn't noticing the writer, I was hearing the speaker -- speaking from her heart -- speaking her lessons, her learnings, from everyday moments.
