Lessons of the Flowing River

One of the short stories in this book goes like this:

In the heart of a bustling city, lived a wise old man named Leo. Despite the constant noise and chaos surrounding him, Leo cultivated a calm and peaceful mind. People marveled at his ability to remain composed amidst the frenetic pace of urban life. One day, a young and ambitious businessman approached Leo, seeking advice. Frustration etched on his face, he asked, 'How can I find peace within this chaotic world?

Leo smiled, beckoning the young man to follow him. They walked to a busy intersection, cars blaring their horns, pedestrians scurrying to their destinations. Leo then guided him to a nearby park where a serene lake mirrored the beauty of the sky.

'Watch the lake, ' Leo said softly. 'Notice how it is undisturbed by the chaos surrounding it. The ripples caused by passerby fade away, leaving behind tranquility.

The businessman stood in awe, realizing that he could choose to be like the lake, unaffected by the busyness of life. From that day forward, he sought the calm within chaos, finding solace amidst the storms.
