Lessons from the Life of Moses

Moses is a great Old Testament man of God from whom we can learn so many great things - both positive and negative things. Moses was born in a great trying period for the children of Israel; but God, by His Mighty Hand, shielded and protected him. When he came to age, he refused to be taken as the son of Pharaoh's daughter, but chose to suffer affliction with the people of God. After God met him at the burning bush, he returned to Pharaoh in great authority, power, and boldness; and thus delivered the Israelites. He obeyed God faithfully and had close relationship with God. Even though he made a mistake, God, in His Great Love and Mercy, forgave him (for he repented) and took him to Heaven.
